Scholarship Program

Cathedral High School’s commitment to quality Catholic education provides comprehensive Scholarship Programs. If you should have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office (323) 441-3116. Students are required to take the HSPT exam at Cathedral High School. 

 

Onward Scholars: 

- Approximately $9,000 per year ($36,000 over four years)

Through the generosity of The John H. and Cynthia Lee Smet Foundation,12 Phantoms from the Class of 2025 will make up the first cohort of Onward Scholars at Cathedral High School in the Fall of 2021! The two main components of the Onward Scholars program (OSP) are scholarship and mentoring.

Math & Science: 

- $3,000 per year ($12,000 over four years)

- The Math and Science Academy is designed to give students the opportunities, direction and challenge to best use their talents in the areas of Math and Sciences. Students in this program will be challenged to the highest level by promoting students to conceptually understand and apply academic knowledge to real-world situations.

Br. Roch TV, Radio and Media Scholarship: 

- $2,000 for two incoming freshmen 

- With the goal of providing a freshmen student with the financial assistance needed to pursue his interest in TV, Radio and Media production. The Br. Roch scholarship will grant $2,000 annually to an incoming freshman. Applicants must submit a video submission where candidates would share their goals in pursuing a career in Television or Broadcasting.
